Day Four - Travel Day to Tuy, Spain

Today our day started in the early hours of the morning, 4am to be exact.  We took a bus to the airport. The bus ride was about an hour drive to the airport of Rome. Once we had arrived we took our luggage, and got our bags weighed up and put on the plane. We went through customs pretty slowly as some of the group members had to take their shoes and jackets off so that they could pass through the metal detectors. After that we boarded the plane, it was a calm and peaceful ride. It took just under two hours to arrive at the airport in Barcelona. We then had another wait, before we boarded a second plane to Santiago De Compostela, from here we jumped into a taxi and and made our way to the train station for a 1.5 hour ride to Vigo. Not finished yet, we then had a walk around Vigo, a large costal town and tasted some local cuisine, known as Burger King! Finally, a bus ride to Tuy to a really lovely hotel where we will stay for 2 nights before we begin the Camino on Monday.
